Responsible AI
1. Where we use AI
We use AI in three areas: practice features inside some courses, such as interview practice, writing feedback or prompt exercises, where the course page or the feature itself says so; support for our editorial team when drafting and translating course materials, which people always review and approve before publication; and internal productivity tools that do not process learner data.
The Readiness Check does not use AI. It is a rule-based questionnaire that runs in your browser and suggests routes according to fixed rules.
2. Human oversight
Assessment decisions are not made by AI. In Guided and Premium courses and in paths, mentors assess your work and decide on certificates. In Essential courses, quizzes and final assessments may be scored automatically by fixed rules, and you can ask a member of our team to review any result within 14 days.
Where a mentor uses AI to help draft feedback, the mentor reviews and edits it before you see it and remains responsible for it.
3. Transparency
When you interact with an AI feature, we tell you so, and AI-generated output is labelled as such.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Please check it before relying on it.
4. No professional advice
AI output is not legal, tax, financial, immigration, medical or other professional advice and does not replace your mentor or the competent authority.
5. Your data
Learner data is not used to train AI models, and we do not allow our AI providers to do so. AI providers act as our processors under data processing agreements, and we send them only the data a feature needs. Please do not enter special categories of personal data or confidential information of others into AI features. More in our Privacy notice.
